The Rock Baseball Tournament brings together 16 Senior Legion teams from South Dakota and surrounding states. This marks the first year of what is hoped to become an annual event celebrating competition, community and the love for the game.

The tournament is held in memory of Deputy Sheriff Ken Prorok, who lost his life in the line of duty in 2024. Ken was deeply devoted to his community and his family, and he had a true passion for baseball. He spent many years coaching and positively impacting youth athletes both on and off the field.

In his honor, two $500 scholarships will be awarded this year. Preference will be given to applicants who plan to continue playing baseball at the collegiate level and/or pursue a degree in law enforcement.

The community and all baseball fans are encouraged to come out to the field, enjoy great baseball, and help support this meaningful event as we honor Ken’s legacy.
